Meisner Technique Intensive

In this six-week Intensive, the Actor will dive right into the heart of the Meisner technique. It is a raw and emotional journey into the depths of the individual that promises to develop the person as well as the performer. The focus of the work is on behavior and living truthfully under given imaginary circumstances. By focusing your attention 100% on your partner, we will build the actor’s ability to deliver their message with spontaneity, emotional truth and unbelievable power. Employing the Repetition exercise, Activities, and Total presence on stage and screen, the Actor walks away knowing themselves better and being able to use their skills in an organic, effective and masterful way. Meisner Technique Intensive classes for Summer are $220 for the series and will be capped at 10 people: Sept. 18, 25, Oct. 2, 9, 16, 23 at Diavolo Dance Theatre Space, 616 Moulton Avenue, Downtown LA, 90031, in the Brewery Arts Complex off North Main and the I-5.
